Welcome to Bioinformatics 2007 in Umeå
Abstract submission deadline extended to 20th of May!!
Bioinformatics 2007 is the 9th annual, international bioinformatics conference
organized by the Society for Bioinformatics in Northern Europe, SocBiN.
The conference aims to bridge the gap between applications of bioinformatics
in such diverse fields as biological and biomedical sciences, mathematical statistics and computational
science. Invited, preeminent speakers will spread state-of-the-art knowledge among a broader
public during six specific sessions on topical issues of bioinformatics. In addition, each session
chair will select one outstanding abstracts for a short oral presentation.
A group of experts will nominate the best poster for the poster-prize.
Bioinformatics 2007 is held on the campus of Umeå University, Sweden, and is locally organised by the Umeå Centre for Molecular Pathogenesis, UCMP, the Umeå Plant Science Centre, UPSC, the High Performance Computing Center North, HPC2N, and the Deptartment of Chemistry, Umeå University.
